Our Athena GMP model, Laminar Air Flow Chambers are available in Vertical as well as Horizontal Models and used where high-tech manufacturing and assembly takes place and thus widely found in semiconductor assembly, biotechnology, pharmaceutical, aerospace, food, medical devices and hospitals. These Laminar air flow chambers are tested on various quality parameters to ensure smooth functioning and manufactured with Class 100 airflow in the work region in accordance to US FED Sth 209.

Vertical Laminar Airflow Cabinet :
We have vertical direction flow and particle retention exceeding 0.5 microns in our vertical laminar air flow. These are praised for their minimal noise and wide range of applications. Application:
A high level of protection for process products in laboratories and manufacturing facilities is provided by vertical laminar air flow cabinets. An ultra-clean working environment free from biological and particle contamination is required for many crucial applications in the medical, pharmaceutical, nuclear power, and micro electronic domains.

Operation:
Pre-filters are used to pull in ambient air, which is then introduced into the work area by HEPA filters. In the work zone, the average speed is kept between 0.4 and 0.5 m/s. According to US FED Sth 209 E, air quality in the work zone is better than class 3.5 (100).

Construction: The cabinets are made of thick board that has been sunmica or epoxy coated mild steel. The work table is constructed of thick board with S. S. or sunmica cladding on top. There will be a table top available as an optional accessory. A silastic sealant is used to encapsulate all joints. Thick sheets of clear acrylic are offered as side panels. The device has a pre-filter installed and is designed to pass through a high-efficiency HEPA (High Efficiency Particular Air) filter with a rating of 99.997% or higher with heated, DOP, retaining all airborne particles of size: 0.3 micron and larger. The blower and motor assembly is statically and dynamically balanced using a dynamic machine. In order to reduce vibration, blowers are installed on vibration isolation mounts.
Fluorescent lighting fixtures installed in the unit provide lighting for working. The working table's height offers a relaxing "Sit Down" working position that allows operation to run on a 220/230 volt AC source.
